India’s First International Automotive Certification Lab
TUV Rheinland has set up India’s first Automotive Testing Lab in Bengaluru.
The lab offers testing and international certification to automotive vehicles and sub-systems, and is the only one of its kind in India.
Vehicle manufacturers can meet local and international standards thanks to this 24-hour available facility “equipped with the latest technical devices,” according to ETAuto.com.
"This facility has been accredited by NABL as per the IEC/ISO 17025 and has successfully executed Indian homologations for Vehicles and Electronic sub-assemblies in association with various national institutions apart from the day-to-day testing and certifications for International homologations,” said Ravindra Kumar BS, Head of the Automotive EMC Testing Team and Laboratory, “The laboratory is equipped with test instruments as per the latest EU standard ECE R10 Revision 5: 2014 for the additional requirements for vehicles and ESAs providing coupling systems for charging the REESS regarding the control of emissions and immunity from this connection between vehicle and power grid.”
